Beginning the 29th of May, you will come to Heavy Metal Sausage at 1527 W Porter St, Philadelphia, PA 19145 on Fridays from open to 4 PM to pick up your vegetables for the week! You will receive a weekly email with a link to a page where you will see what vegetables we have available that week. You will choose what you would like in your bag and submit your form by 8 A.M. every Wednesday.
The share size you choose to purchase will have a specific number of vegetable "choices". Each week we will designate what amount of each vegetable constitutes a "choice". For example, typically a "choice" of carrots will be one and a half pounds, typically a "choice" of salad mix will be a half pound bag, a "choice" of kale will be a large bunch, etc.
Once you have submitted your choices for the week, we will harvest your vegetables and have them waiting for you at Heavy Metal Sausage!

How do I know what share size is right for me?
Consider what you typically buy at the grocery store each week and look at our "Example Share" above. If you're still stumped, send us an email at [email protected] and we will be happy to help you choose the right share for you!
WHat if I can not pick up my share one week?
Contact us at [email protected] as soon as you know you will be missing a pick-up day and we will see how we can accommodate you.
how does pick up OR DELIVERY work if there is bad weather?
In the case of inclement weather, your farmers will contact all C.S.A Members through email to determine an alternate day for share pick up.
WHAT IF I DO NOT SUBMIT MY SHARE CHOICES BY 8 A.M. ON WEDNESDAY?
Not to worry! If a C.S.A. Member is unable to submit their share choices for the week by 8 A.M. Wednesday morning, we will simply curate a box for you. Trust us. We're professionals! We will do our best to take note of what vegetables you may have selected in the past and what you have shared in the "Vegetable Survey" we send out at the beginning of the season to get to know your preferences.
